MRFs large and small have experienced Sorted’s benefits

We have been talking for a while about further automation in the last sorting cabin, but robotics with heavy CapEx felt like a risky investment. The Sorted business model was exactly what we needed. With the hire there was no machine to buy. The robot went in during our planned shutdown and we didn't lose an hour of production.

The biggest challenge we have right now is continuously adapting what we do to what brings the most value: either reducing residual waste or achieving higher quality output, but without having to redesign our plants. Sorted is tackling exactly that. They understand our operation and they are leveraging technology in a pragmatic way to start adding value from the start.

Working with Sorted has been very easy. I would completely recommend partnering with them. They are transparent, flexible and committed to helping you get the most out of their technology, whether it’s applied at the MRF level or directly with your customers. They take the time to understand your operations and suggest the best solution to meet your needs.

I highly recommend Sorted. They are easy to work with and have a deep understanding of the industry. Their team visited our facility to thoroughly assess our operations, so they could provide the best advice and value. The entire system was installed within a few hours without disrupting our operations and started delivering results immediately. With precise, real-time insights into our MRF, we can now operate more efficiently, quickly adapting our picking processes to material changes to maximise recovery and revenue.

Technology solutions which can achieve scale quickly are critical to the sector’s ability to adapt in the near term, and by enhancing and augmenting the ability of the workforce to get more material out of existing waste streams, we can see barriers to market entry being significantly reduced.
